2025 Covenantal Giving Web Meeting | Monday, July 8, 4:00 p.m.
On Monday, July 8, the Executive Board will host a Zoom meeting on the Covenantal Giving process for the 2025 budget of the Diocese. All congregations are invited to attend this session. We will pray together, hear from Bishop Stevenson, and cover information about the Covenantal Giving process.

The Virginia Plan for Covenantal Giving
In 2021, the diocesan Annual Convention adopted the Virginia Plan for Covenantal Giving. It provides for a three-year transition from the previous proportional giving plan to the Virginia Plan for Covenantal Giving.
In preparation for 2025 pledges, all churches in the Diocese received a communication from the diocesan Treasurer’s Office. Each church’s letter outlined three years of parish income based upon Line 3 of its parochial reports for 2021, 2022, and 2023. The letters also provided the average of those three years’ income, along with the parish’s proposed contribution to the Diocese based upon 10% of that average. Budget Forms and Documents
- For Diocesan Committees and related organizations, please complete and return two forms: 2024 Budget Request Form and 2024 Budget Request Detail Form (Excel).
- For non-diocesan organizations, please complete 2024 Budget Request Form.
- Non-diocesan organizations must also provide a completed 2022 Budget Grant Accounting Form.
