The weekend course is designed to teach students about the intricacies of fly fishing with hands on instruction that covers everything from tying flies and casting to pond and river fishing at the South River for trout.
Our community will be offering a full course dinner before the Richmond Forum events in 2026. Sylvia May, a parishioner, choir member, and chef, along with Father Brent have planned this community building idea for utilizing our proximity to Altria Theatre.
This two-day event is designed to inspire and equip women through dynamic workshop leaders and keynote speakers, exploring how faith informs their roles both in the church and the broader society.

Connect with your mind, body, and spirit with a Chakra workshop – that includes yoga, teas and meditations that help you balance and cleanse your chakras. We have two guest yoga teachers – Barbara and Abigail and a guest speaker, Dabney for the Chakra workshop.
Here is your opportunity to experience two of life’s great joys. Shrine Mont will be hosting a pickleball workshop from May 15 to May 17. If you have never played pickleball or are new to the game, this workshop will go over the rules, basic drills, some strategy and lots of playing time.
Nancy Ross Hugo, David Pippin and Kate Vernon will demonstrate a variety of arranging techniques. Attendees will participate in activities that take the angst out of arranging and showcase techniques that make the process both easier and more fun.
Come explore the natural world through painting with award-winning artist and teacher Theodora Tilton. Choosing oil or watercolor, you’ll join students at all levels painting “en plein aire” in the beautiful mountains surrounding historic Shrine Mont.
Richmond area instructors Bonnijean Boggess, Julian Desta and Donna Cushlanis will be leading a variety of all-level yoga classes in indoor and outdoor spaces in and around the historic Shrine Mont Retreat Center located in the quaint town of Orkney Springs, Virginia.
