Guest organist Dr. Christopher Reynolds (Director of Music and Organist at St. Paul's, Richmond) will present a 30-minute organ recital at St. Paul's Memorial Church, Charlottesville, followed by Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Michael & All Angels, sung by the St. Paul's Memorial Church Parish Choir (directed by Deke Polifka).
Choral Evensong is a service filled with beautiful music, prayers, and scripture that marks the day’s end. This service of Choral Evensong features music centered in the African-American story and is offered in memory of John Johnson, friend of Saint George’s.

The prize-winning Quatuor Agate String Quartet will perform as part of the Odeon Chamber Music Series at St. Patrick’s. The program includes String quartet No. 21 / Mozart; “New Work” / Anna Korsun; and String Quartet / Ravel.

This candlelit concert offers respite and beauty in the midst of a busy season and features music and poetry for the longest night of the year as we anticipate the joy of light’s return. It will take place in the church.
