Overwhelming Response to Pathways to Prayer and Practice Application

by | Dec 10, 2025

The response to the launch of the Pathways to Prayer and Practice initiative has been nothing short of inspiring. Nearly 20 congregations from across the Diocese completed both rounds of the application and are currently participating in final interviews for the first cohort. Their enthusiasm is clear. Clergy and lay leaders alike are eager to deepen children’s experience of worship, try new approaches, and grow together in how we help young people fall in love with Jesus.

Again and again, applicants expressed gratitude that the Diocese is investing in this ministry. As one phrase heard throughout the process reminds us: “If you build it, they will come.” This first step has already revealed the Spirit moving across the Diocese among communities ready to reimagine worship with children at the center.

Final cohort selections will be made in early January, with the first gathering planned for February 2025. This is just the beginning. We hope you’ll stay connected as we learn together, pray together, and follow along with all that unfolds in this journey. Look out for our next update announcing the five churches selected to participate in the inaugural Pathways to Prayer and Practice cohort.
