Emmanuel’s Table, the food ministry of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Woodstock, is pleased to announce it has received a $2,500 grant from the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC). This generous funding will support the pantry’s ongoing efforts to provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need throughout the community.

Emmanuel’s Table is a vital resource for food-insecure households, operating on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The grant from SVEC will help sustain and expand the ministry’s ability to offer fresh produce, pantry staples, and other essential items to those who rely on this service.

“We are deeply grateful to Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative for their generous support,” said The Very Rev. Kathleen Murray, rector. “This grant will allow us to continue serving our neighbors with dignity and compassion, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.”

Emmanuel’s Table has seen a growing need for food assistance and remains committed to addressing hunger through community partnerships and support from organizations like SVEC. The funding will help purchase additional food supplies and improve pantry operations to serve local families better.
