On Sunday, September 13, St. James’ Episcopal Church in Leesburg welcomed the Rt. Rev. E. Mark Stevenson for a celebration of worship and renewed commitment to faith. Bishop Stevenson confirmed eight people, and two others reaffirmed their baptismal vows. These moments offered the congregation an opportunity to celebrate God’s work in their lives and to renew its own promise to support them in their journey of faith.
Following worship, parishioners gathered for a reception to honor those who had taken these steps and to enjoy time together with Bishop Stevenson.
