The Rev. Colleen Schiefelbein, Priest-in-Charge at St. Martin de Porres in Alexandria, has been selected for the inaugural “Innovating Beloved Communities” Cohort at Episcopal Divinity School. Led by the Rev. Canon Dr. Stephanie Spellers ’04, this year-long intensive brings together nine leaders from across the country to incubate ministries focused on advancing a just, compassionate, and multicultural Beloved Community.
Her project will focus on growing the community of St. Martin de Porres, a diverse community formed by the merger of three parishes, through relationships with Jesus, each other, and their community.
