The event celebrates the history and culture of Virginia's eleven recognized Indian Tribes and directs specific attention to one tribe each year. In 2023 TPP honored the Mattaponi Indian Tribe and this year TPP is honoring the Upper Mattaponi Indian Tribe.
The Community of Deacons in the Diocese of Virginia invites its congregations and members to A Week of Prayer for the 2024 Election Season, from October 30, 2024 to November 5, 2024.
Everyone is invited to join Election Night Virtual Prayers hosted by The Episcopal Church Office of Government Relations from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 5. Episcopalians from around the church will hold silence and lead participants in prayers together for peace, the nation, and all people and countries.
