GHTC’s Caroling in Monroe Park & Holiday Market brings The Greater Richmond Children’s Choir (GRCC), Hood Temple AME Zion Church Music Ministry, RVA Street Singers, the GHTC Vocal Ensemble, and a brass quintet together to lead us in carols for this fifth annual holiday event on Sunday, December 14th.
Dr. Sherie Austin, MD is a pediatrician in Gloucester, VA. who will share her spiritual journey with us. Dr. Austin enjoys doing volunteer work. She has volunteered at a small hospital in Rwanda and regularly volunteers with Bread for Life, a local community food pantry.
Our community will be offering a full course dinner before the Richmond Forum events in 2026. Sylvia May, a parishioner, choir member, and chef, along with Father Brent have planned this community building idea for utilizing our proximity to Altria Theatre.

Dr. Daryn Henry, Professor of Christian Studies at the University of Virginia will be presenting and leading a workshop on responding to Christian nationalism.
Participants will gain insights into the consequences of these racial covenants including access to safe, equitable housing and obstruction of generational wealth for marginalized populations today and how systemic displacement and public housing concentration targeted African-American neighborhoods whose residents responded with resilience, agency and advocacy.
