Winter Solstice Concert
Sanctuary, the Compline Choir of St. Stephen’s Church in Richmond, presents its annual concert for the winter solstice, “A Celebration of Light.” The choir is led by interim conductor Jeffrey Riehl, and will also feature Peter Greydanus, cello, and Andrew McAvoy, guitar.
This candlelit concert offers respite and beauty in the midst of a busy season and features music and poetry for the longest night of the year as we anticipate the joy of light’s return. It will take place in the church.
A reception follows in the fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the church parking lot and on the street. The church is handicap-accessible.
St. Stephen’s labyrinth will be available in Palmer Hall Chapel beginning at noon on the day of the concert.
