Brotherhood of St. Andrew
Mission
The mission of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew is to bring men and youth to Christ. We seek to introduce our men’s ministry to all parishes in The Episcopal Church and Worldwide Anglican Communion. Our vision is to inspire, empower, and equip men and boys to fulfill the Great Commission.
Members are called Brothers Andrew and are required to accept and observe the Brotherhood disciplines of Prayer, Study, and Service. Brotherhood chapters usually meet once or twice per month in Episcopal and Anglican churches.
Prayer
To pray daily for the spread of Christ’s kingdom, especially among men and youth, and for God’s blessings upon the labors of the Brotherhood.
Study
To study the Holy Scriptures regularly and the teachings of the Church, to attain a better understanding of how to follow Christ and bring others into his kingdom.
Service
To make continuous efforts, week by week, to bring others nearer to Christ through his Church.

Examples of Ministry
Trinity Church, Fredericksburg is an active chapter with several ministries.
- Participating in Servants at Work (SAWs) – building ramps for wheelchair users
- Donating to Micah Ministries – a consortium of churches in the Fredericksburg area to help the unhoused and underserved population
- Breakfast with Santa – providing breakfast for church youth and their parents after they meet with “Santa”
