Trustees of the Funds Becomes Virginia Episcopal Investment Funds

by | Oct 20, 2025

Effective October 20, the Trustees of the Funds serving the Diocese of Virginia will be known as Virginia Episcopal Investment Funds (VEIF). The new name better reflects the organization’s mission to prudently invest assets for over 150 Episcopal parishes and related organizations across the diocese. VEIF emphasizes responsible investment, ensuring funds are managed with social responsibility and Christian purpose.

With the name change, VEIF will launch a new website, www.veif.org, replacing the former Trustees of the Funds site. Email addresses also will be updated: Executive Director, Lynn Ivey, to Livey@veif.org, and Secretary-Treasurer, Trish Couch-Foster, to TFoster@veif.org.

VEIF maintains its commitment to offering three investment fund options—Short Term, Balanced, and All Equity—along with independent decision-making and cost-effective management. Recent enhancements include the appointment of a professional Executive Director, implementation of secure account portals, and engagement of a new investment advisor, LCG Associates. These steps underscore VEIF’s dedication to secure, prudent, and purpose-driven fund management for Episcopal organizations in Virginia.
