St. Peter’s Port Royal Helps with Hurricane Relief for Jamaica

For the past six years, St. Peter’s in Port Royal has been in a mission relationship with Victoria Primary School near Linstead, Jamaica; now, after Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica, St. Peter’s is gathering financial and food donations.

Financial donations will help set up a food bank at the school. Use the QR code or send a check payable to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church with “Jamaica Hurricane Melissa Relief” in the memo line to PO Box 399, Port Royal, VA 22535.

Food donations will be shipped and distributed to families connected with the school. St. Peter’s asks for nutritious, canned food including sardines, tuna, chicken, corned beef, Spam, Vienna sausages, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, canned soup, red beans, oatmeal, corn meal, rice, and cooking oil.
