Each summer, Shrine Mont Camps seeks chaplains (ordained or lay) to be fully immersed in the life of an individual camp session (15 total). The Camp Chaplain is an integral part of the camp’s ministry and includes accommodations for the chaplain’s family, meals, and a stipend. Also, chaplains’ children can attend one camp session at Shrine Mont at no cost while the chaplain serves. Chaplains are encouraged to be free from parental responsibilities in order to be fully present in the life of the camp.
In addition, clergy are invited to support the children from their congregations who attend camp by engaging with parents and families on the last day of camp at closing worship. You can find the last day of each camp on the 2026 schedule; worship times will be posted soon.
