On March 16, Bishop Harris ordained three new deacons at St. Paul’s Alexandria. God willing, these deacons will become priests in the summer of 2024.
Lachlan Hassman is a Senior at Duke Divinity. He will begin an Art History PhD Program at Duke in the Fall and serves at St. Joseph’s in Durham.
Jon Scarffe is currently serving at The Church of the Resurrection in Alexandria and is a chaplain with Goodwin Hospice.
Redmond Self is a Senior at VTS and also a member of the US Army Reserves. He is currently serving with Christ Church, Alexandria, and is pursuing further training for Military Chaplaincy.
