Mr. Greg Randall Called as Director of Shrine Mont Camps

Mr. Greg Randall has been called to serve as the Director of Shrine Mont Camps, beginning his ministry on July 1, 2025. This summer, Mary Beth Abplanalp will still lead Shrine Mont Camps as Interim Director, while also collaborating closely with Greg and Canon for Discipleship Ricardo Sheppard, who will be his direct supervisor, to ensure a seamless transition and continued excellence in camp leadership.

More about Greg Randall

Greg Randall, his wife Catalina, and their sons Charlie (8) and Ollie (6) join us from Virginia Beach. Before moving to Virginia Beach, Greg served as Director of Youth Programming and Camp Director for the Diocese of Southwest Florida. His camp career began at Camp Beckwith (Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast) and continued with leadership roles at Camp Kanuga in North Carolina. Greg also held youth ministry positions at St. Paul’s, Mobile, AL, and St. Andrew’s, Canton, NC, and served on the Youth Commission at Holy Family in Chapel Hill, NC.

With experience as an educator and administrator in the U.S. and abroad, including four years in Medellín, Colombia, where he met Catalina, Greg emphasizes people-focused leadership. His vision centers on building relationships that nurture social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth, striving to create “Beloved Community.”
