If you are sensing the nudge of the Holy Spirit in your life inviting you to consider how your gifts and skills might serve the church and the world in new and deeper ways, you may be interested in participating in one of our Diocese of Virginia Discernment Retreats, which are held three times each year. Diocesan Discernment Retreats are open to Episcopalians in the Diocese of Virginia who wish to have a quiet time and space to discern God’s call, whether that be to lay ministry or ordained ministry as a deacon or priest. Those interested in attending should speak with their parish clergy, who can initiate a referral for parishioners to attend this weekend of individual and small-group discernment.
