The Body of God by Sallie McFague, published in 1993, is foundational to our thinking about creation care. What if creation is more than a gift to humankind—what if it’s an extension of the sacred itself? How does that change our response to creation and all that endangers it? All are invited to join this virtual book group hosted by the Creation Care Committee with discussion led by Derrick Weston of Creation Justice Ministries. We will meet on Tuesdays at 7p on Sep. 9, 16, 23, and 30.
Participants are asked to commit to regular attendance and to reading about 2 chapters of the book each week. Group size will be limited. Email Creation Care to register.
