At an award dinner May 29, Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church celebrated the career of Patti D. Klein, the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together-Arlington/Fairfax/Falls Church (RT-AFF). She was presented with 2025 H. Donald Campbell Award for Service and Generosity along with a check for $15,000 which she presented to Scott Brideau, Chairman of the Board of Rebuilding Together.
A parish committee selected Ms. Klein based on her dedication to helping low- and moderate-income homeowners in Arlington, Fairfax, and Falls Church stay in their homes and ensure their homes are safe and healthy. The award is funded by the Campbell Family Foundation of Richmond and named for the late H. Donald Campbell, who died in 2024. Don Campbell was a generous and long-time member of Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church.
In 2024, RT-AFF volunteers provided 6,200 hours to complete 117 projects, benefiting 176 individuals living in 111 homes and working with six non-profit housing organizations. All RT-AFF services are provided at no cost to the home’s owners or occupants who are referred by local government human services agencies.
Saint Peter’s has participated in Rebuilding Together since 1989, and three of its parishioners served on the initial Board in 2010, providing legal and financial guidance to the new organization. On April 12, 2025, members of Saint Peter’s parish completed their 38th home renovation since 1989.
