Bishop William Barber II, DMin (Disciples of Christ), Co-Chair of the Poor People’s Campaign and founder of Repairers of the Breach, is coming to Richmond June 8th and 9th.
This half-day retreat will include a presentation, time for silent meditation, and a plenary. Our focus will be Merton’s invitation to live a cruciform life: one that is vertically connected to God and horizontally connected to our fellow souls and to “this fragile earth our island home.”

The Virginia Deputation to General Convention will make brief presentations about the upcoming General Convention (June 22-28) and then take questions from people in our Diocese.
This summer book study, led by Canon Hill, is designed to support and encourage those engaged in preaching at the intersections of race, justice, and faith. The study will take place every other Wednesday, June 12-September 4 at 3 p.m.
