Rooted & Rising: A Creation Care Book Study

The Spiritual Resilience Working Group (SRWG) of the Creation Care Committee invites you to a virtual book journey using Rooted & Rising; Voices of Courage in a Time of Climate Crisis. Edited by the Rev. Dr. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas and the Rev. Dr. Leah Schade, this collection of essays from many faith traditions is rich in content and offers thought-provoking questions. “Building spiritual muscle” by the practice of meditation is included in the work of this book. Led by Deacon Salli Hartman and Kathy Ellis, the 7–week journey will begin Thursday, Sept. 5, from 7 PM to 8:15 PM, and continue weekly.
