Advent Study: Clothed with Flesh
The Rev. James W Farwell, Ph.D.
Professor of Theology and Liturgy, Virginia Theological Seminary /
H. Boone Porter Professor of Liturgics, The General Theological Seminary
While all Christians celebrate the Incarnation as central to their faith, we Anglicans have held it especially dear in our imagination of God’s intentions for the flourishing of human life. For four weeks in Advent, Dr. Farwell will lead us through an exploration of theological turning points, hymn texts, poetry, and devotional materials centered on the Incarnation as we prepare ourselves for the festal celebrations of Christmas and Epiphany.
Join us for the four Sundays of Advent, beginning November 30th at 9:15am.
