After March 3 we will no longer be able to make changes to your group’s registration numbers. \nGroup Registration: To register your youth for the event\, please send Patricia Cope-Levy the information found in this Wufoo form. \nAbout PYE\nMarch 20-22 at the Claggett Center \nAdamstown\, MD \nYouth from around Province III are invited to join together for a weekend filled with exciting activities\, new friends\, and retreat favorites. This event is for 6-12 grade students. Parents and adult leaders are also welcomed. \nNew Friends: Our leadership team is preparing to lead small group activities that build confidence\, encourage friendships\, and promote a deeper understanding of God’s hope & love. \nExploring a Theme: The entire weekend is designed to explore the topic chosen by our Youth Leadership Team Faith on the Road and to help all participants feel welcomed and included. Our Big Sessions will have ice breakers\, guest speakers\, youth testimonies\, and a live worship band. \nRetreat Favorites:  Enjoy Claggett’s many hiking trails\, camp activities and accommodations.  Plus favorites like the bonfire and s’mores\, glow games\, live music\, and late night cabin time. SUMMARY:A Time to Build - 2025 High School Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Arrive anytime between 6-7pm\, depart Sunday @ 11:00am \nCost $100.00 for each participant (youth or adult) \nCost includes lodging\, meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast\, and t-shirt. Scholarships are available by contacting youthministries@episcopalvirginia.org. \nThe High School Retreat is designed for current 9th -12th grade youth and their parish youth leaders as well as youth not currently connected to Episcopal parishes. \nThe retreat will include a program\, small groups\, games\, and time set aside to enjoy activities on the mountain. \nAll youth participants from a parish must attend with at least one adult chaperone (at a 10 youth:1 adult ratio). If any youth would like to attend\, but are not affiliated with an Episcopal parish\, or there are no adult leaders able to attend from their parish\, please contact youthministries@episcopalvirginia.org. SUMMARY:Love One Another: 3rd\, 4th\, and 5th Grade Fellowship Day
DESCRIPTION:For the first time\, the Diocese of Virginia will host two fellowship days for 3rd\, 4th\, and 5th graders to come together for a fun-filled day of formation and fellowship centered on the theme of Communion! The idea for the fellowship days came from Lauren Breeden\, Director of Children and Family Ministries at The Falls Church Episcopal. \n“Children’s spirituality is woven into their laughter\, movement\, questioning\, and wonder. Their faith is embodied\, imaginative\, and real. When we let them lead us\, they remind us what Communion truly means. These fellowship days are about recognizing that children don’t just belong in the Church—they reveal it to us. To all our young 3rd- to 5th-grade leaders: we can’t wait to learn\, play\, and worship with you. Come show us what Communion looks like through your eyes.” \n– Lauren Breeden \nThe schedule will run from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm\, concluding with a kid-centered Eucharist. Parents are invited to join their children for the first part of the day to join the fun and meet with diocesan staff and Bishops to learn more about ministries throughout the diocese. We will be hosted by St. Christopher’s School in Richmond on Saturday May 10\, and by St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria on Saturday May 17. \nThe $20 registration fee includes snacks and lunch. Both school campuses are completely nut-free\, so we ask that students refrain from bringing food to campus unless they make a special request with Canon Heidi Kim.
