Rooted in Christ & Dancing God’s Dream is the conference theme. This echoes the theme of the co-sponsoring Diocese of California and alludes to the dozens of saints pictured in the interior murals of St. Gregory’s Church\, which features dancing in its worship. DESCRIPTION:“A Time to Build: My Spiritual Identity\, Faith\, & Friendships” \n-Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 \nFriday\, April 17 – Sunday\, April 19 \n\nArrive anytime between 6-7pm\, depart Sunday @ 11:00am\nPlease note that dinner is not provided on Friday evening!\n\nShrine Mont\, Orkney Springs\, VA \nEarly Bird Cost: $120.00 until February 27 for each participant (youth or adult) \nRegular Cost: $130.00 for each participant (youth or adult) \nRegistration ends April 6 \n\nCost includes lodging\, meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast\, and t-shirt. Scholarships are available by contacting youthministries@episcopalvirginia.org.\n\nThe Middle School Weekend is designed for current 6th-8th grade youth in the Diocese of Virginia and their parish youth leaders\, as well as youth not currently connected to Episcopal parishes. \nCome meet other Middle School aged youth from around the Diocese of Virginia and spend a weekend at Shrine Mont! \nThe event will include a program around our theme\, small groups\, games\, worship\, fun\, and time set aside to enjoy activities on the mountain. \nAll youth participants from a parish must attend with at least one adult chaperone (at a 10 youth:1 adult ratio). DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to invite high school aged students to attend the High School Leadership Summit at Shrine Mont. The dates are April 17th-19th 2026. High schoolers will hone their leadership skills as they connect with other youth from across the diocese. The program will include lessons on crucial aspects of leadership like communicating across differences\, confidence-building\, and combining every person’s unique gifts in a team. Attendees will engage in practical applications of these skills at the concurrent Middle School Summit\, where high schoolers will have the opportunity to facilitate sessions for middle school attendees. DESCRIPTION:Once again Shrine Mont has teamed up with Orkney Springs Outfitters to offer an immersive introduction to Fly Fishing. The weekend course is designed to teach students about the intricacies of fly fishing with hands on instruction that covers everything from tying flies and casting to pond and river fishing at the South River for trout.
