SUMMARY:GEMN Mission Formation Program
DESCRIPTION:The Global Episcopal Mission Network\, an independent organization promoting global mission in the Episcopal Church\, is offering a Mission Formation Program  Wednesday-Friday\, Oct. 16-18\, 2024\, from 12 noon to 3pm EDT online each day.  People across the church interested to grow more deeply into their world mission ministry are invited and encouraged to enroll. \nParticipants explore biblical foundations of mission\, mission history and theology\, mission discernment and standards\, partnership and companionship in mission\, legacies of colonialism\, congregational and diocesan support groups\, mission team and project development\, leadership styles and group process. \nIn addition to program attendance\, participants complete reading\, carry out a project during the year between Part 1 and Part 2\, and prepare mission reports.
