SUMMARY:Chrism Mass and Reaffirmation of Vows
DESCRIPTION:Bishops and clergy will gather during Holy Week to celebrate the ancient tradition of the reaffirmation of vows. Bishop Stevenson invites all clergy to plan to attend one of the services held in five locations across the Diocese. \nThe five locations for services include: Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill\, Alexandria (Zabriskie Chapel); St. Mary’s Memorial\, Berryville; St. Paul’s Memorial\, Charlottesville; St. Andrew’s\, Richmond; St. John’s\, Tappahannock \nClergy are invited to vest. The color of the day is red. Lunch will be provided\, so please stay after the service for this time of fellowship with your colleagues in Christ. Oil of Chrism\, as well as Oil for the Anointing of the Sick\, will be blessed and available for clergy to take back to their respective parishes. Register.  The deadline for registration is March 13\, 2024. \nIf you have questions\, please contact Gloria Parham at gparham@episcopalvirginia.org. \nRegister Here
